Robyn Greene Arrington

ROBYN GREENE ARRINGTON, p.g.a. is a multifaceted and multi-hyphenate creative.  Robyn writes movies, TV shows, and audio series; consults for production companies; teaches creative and production classes; and speaks about being a thriving survivor of reproductive challenges and health advocate.  Her short film “#exercises/in/fertility” is streaming on MANSA.COM  and was selected to be an ECCO-USA project under the Biden Administration.

Most recently, Robyn was an Executive Producer in the scripted division at Paramount’s MTVE Studios and the consulting producer for the Tubi hit film, “The Caregiver.”

Prior to that, she was the Interim Head of Programming & Production for sister cable networks, TV One and Cleo TV.  During her tenure at the networks, she was an integral part of the team that shaped the networks’ creative vision for scripted, documentary, non-fiction, lifestyle, and digital content.

Robyn was a driving force behind the networks’ most acclaimed content, including the multi-award-winning music documentary series, “Unsung;” the investigative crime & justice limited series “Two Sides of the Truth,” which Viola Davis narrated and executive produced; the top-rated movies “Bobbi Kristina,” When Love Kills,” and “Love Under New Management: The Miki Howard Story.”

She worked in creative services at HBO, Cinemax, Lifetime, A&E, and BET.

A highlight of her career is producing the Miramax nationally-distributed, theatrically-released indie film “Hav Plenty.”

As a writer, Robyn focuses on health and wellness. Her holistic flow also includes civic duty.  Robyn is a member of The Entertainment Creative Collaboration Outreach Program (ECCO-USA), which collaborates with White House and Congressional staff to heighten public awareness of critical public policy and legislation initiatives.

Her mother taught her, “You can’t take anything to the grave.” And her father showed, by example, the importance of social responsibility.  Thus, she frequently “pays it forward” by mentoring, giving speeches, participating on panels, and in daily interactions that contribute to the growth of others.

Robyn’s prestigious recognitions include an NYU Liberal Education Award in expository writing, a Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize nomination, and an official selection of the inaugural Essence Film Festival; other awards and nominations comprise of Telly Awards, Taste Awards, NAACP Image Awards, NABJ Awards, CableFax Program Awards, NAMIC Vision Awards, an ABFF Award, a GLAAD Media Award, a New York Festivals Award, and a CTAM Mark Award.
