Robyn Greene Arrington

Storyteller.  Filmmaker.  Content Creator.  Advisor.  Executive.

Robyn Greene Arrington is a multi-talented creative.  Her current roles include film director, screenwriter, memoirist, and producer.  She develops and pitches content across different genres for various mediums.

As a creator, Robyn focuses on health and wellness.  Her short film “#exercises/in/fertility” is streaming at https://www.mansa.com?title=movie-848 on Mansa.com.

Robyn’s holistic flow extends to her civic engagement.  She is a member of The Entertainment Creative Collaboration Outreach Program (ECCO-USA), which collaborates with White House and Congressional staffs to heighten public awareness of critical public policy and legislation initiatives.

Robyn recently was a scripted Executive Producer at Paramount’s MTVE Studios and the consulting producer of the Tubi hit film, “The Caregiver.”

While Head of Programming & Production at TV One & Cleo TV, she was an integral part of the team that shaped the networks’ creative vision for scripted, documentary, non-fiction, lifestyle, and digital content.  Robyn was a driving force behind the networks’ most acclaimed content, including the multi-award-winning music documentary series, “Unsung;” the investigative crime & justice limited series “Two Sides of the Truth,” which Viola Davis narrated and executive produced; the top-rated movies “Bobbi Kristina,” When Love Kills,” and “Love Under New Management: The Miki Howard Story.”

Robyn worked in creative services at HBO, Cinemax, Lifetime, A&E, and BET.

A highlight of her career is producing the Miramax nationally-distributed, theatrically-released indie film, “Hav Plenty.”

(Mildred Johnson’s) The Modern School fostered Robyn’s thirst for knowledge and fostered her sense of community.  St. James Presbyterian Church and The Harlem School of the Arts cultivated her love for the arts.  She holds a Master of Science in television-radio-film production from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism from New York University.  As a frosh, she won the NYU Liberal Education Award for expository writing.

Robyn’s mother taught her, “You can’t take anything to the grave.” And her father showed, by example, the importance of social responsibility.  Thus, she frequently “pays it forward” by mentoring, giving speeches, participating on panels, and in daily interactions that contribute to the growth of others.

In constant search of life-changing mind-body-soul experiences, Robyn’s other extracurricular activities are meditating, spending time with her loved ones, spa-ing, aqua fitness, traveling, reading, frequenting artistic exhibitions, and watching films and documentaries.
